As I started writing short films there was one thing I struggled with the most (and I'm sure I'm not alone here), which was accepting the fact that if I want to tell something I'll have to speak about it with others. While writing about my biggest joys and my worst fears can be liberating, the idea of having to talk about it can be stressful and, worst of all, the idea of someone using it against you can be terrifying.

This is my first short film shot while studying at ESCAC and as the days went by and I had to pitch my short film, it seemed there was no better idea to start with. The Writer, this short film's main character, is confronted with an interviewer who makes him feel comfortable before she starts to attack him with his biggest fears.

Ironically speaking, as my first fiction short film, La Entrevista ended up being the project that made me feel more comfortable sharing what I write. I'm incredibly proud of this project and proud of the wonderful cast and crew that joined me in it.
